I’ve been taking just 1 capsule with food each morning/afternoon for over a week. I have noticed that I do have more energy and feel calmer and more positive. I had a menstrual cycle just before I received my order so I can’t speak on how that changed, yet. I unfortunately have had some undesirable side effects such as stomach cramps & sleep disturbances. I didn’t have either issues before starting this supplement. I have tried taking first thing in the morning and also later morning/afternoon. When I took earlier in the morning it did seem to help with sleep disturbances, but I still had stomach cramps. Ginger tea helped that. For reference I’m 42 with regular periods. I did just stop breastfeeding 3 months ago. I believe my hormones are out of balance from postpartum, breastfeeding and my age, which is why I purchased this. I believe the side effects I’m having are directly tied to Maca, as I have tried a straight Maca supplement in the past that gave me the same yet worse side effects. If you don’t have any sensitivity to Maca, I’m sure this would be a great supplement for you. If not, I would suggest taking just 1 to start, take it early in the morning with food and have some ginger on hand. Best wishes to you all!!
